Photo to 3D

Turn three silhouette-like photos into a rough downloadable 3D model.

This app uses silhouette reconstruction, not full photogrammetry. Give it a clear front, side, and top photo of the same object on a plain background, then export a color-preserving PLY or a geometry-only STL.

Best results

  • Use a plain white or black background
  • Keep the object centered in all three photos
  • Take the photos from straight-on angles
  • Crop close to the object before loading if needed
  • Avoid normal perspective snapshots or 3D viewer screenshots

Inputs

Load your reference photos

Load all three views to begin.

If the masks look wrong, this input set is not usable yet. The app now prefers rejecting bad silhouettes over generating a misleading blob.

Output

Preview and export

Surface voxels 0
Vertices 0
Triangles 0
Drag to rotate. Use the mouse wheel to zoom.
Front mask
Side mask
Top mask

Color is preserved in the PLY export and in the preview. STL keeps the shape only.

Each build reports how much of each photo became foreground so you can catch bad masks before downloading.
